Tuning tools, software and file subscriptions are a big outlay for a garage that only gets the occasional remapping request. Working with us, you can take those jobs on without buying the equipment or learning to use it.
We're a mobile service, so the vehicle stays at your garage. You look after your customer; we come to you, check the vehicle, carry out the calibration or diagnosis on site, and talk you through what was done.

What's possible depends on the vehicle, its ECU and its software. We confirm before any work is agreed. Road vehicles must remain compliant with applicable Irish emissions and road-use laws.

Do we need any tuning equipment?
No. We carry out the remapping ourselves, so your garage doesn't need tuning tools, software or training.
Where is the work done?
At your garage. MTR Performance is a mobile service, so we come to you with the equipment and do the work on site. Your customer's vehicle doesn't need to go anywhere.
What work can you take on?
ECU remapping (Stage 1, Stage 2 and economy), DSG and gearbox remapping where supported, DPF, EGR and AdBlue diagnostics and compliant solutions, and ECU fault diagnosis. We confirm what is possible for each vehicle before any work is agreed.
How is trade work priced?
We'll go through pricing with you when you get in touch, based on the work you expect to send us.
Can a remapped vehicle be returned to standard?
In most cases, yes. We retain the original calibration where supported so it can be restored later.
What about emissions-related work?
Road vehicles must remain compliant with Irish emissions and road-use law. Some emissions-related solutions are only for motorsport, export or off-road use, and we will tell you where that applies.
